Charles B. Aycock was born on November 1, 1859. He was known as the North Carolina's Educational Governor from 1901 to 1905. His parents name was Benjamin as the father and the mother was named Serena. By the 1870's Bejamin had the 7th wealthiest household in the township they had more than 1000 acres to do whatever they wanted on. Charles Aycock was the youngest of all his brothers and sisters and they all totaled up to a number of 10 children. Charles Aycock graduate from the University of North Carolina in the year of 1880. He also proposed the idea of whites and blacks going to the same school.
