Born in the state Texas in 1890, grown up in Abilene, Kansas, Eisenhower was the third of the seven sons that his Father and Mother had. He excelled in sports in high school, and received an invitation to West Point. He was stationed in Texas as the second lieutenant, he met a woman named Mamie Geneva Doud, which he married in 1916. In his army career he excelled in the staff assignments that were said to be done by his Major. After the War that was fought he began working as a President of Columbia University. After many things that happened he began negotiating from military strength, he also tried to reduce the strains of the Cold War. In the year 1953 he signed a truce and brought peace along the border of South Korea. Many things happened after this achievement he died by a long illness that he suffered from on the date March 28,1969.
