David Fanning

David Fanning was supposedly born in the county named Amelia in Virginia but some sources give the birth place of David Fanning to Wake County in North Carolina. His mother died shortly after his birth and his father died before his birth. Later on in the years he suffered from a disease known as "scald head" it was probably one of the many skin diseases. By the age 16 David Fanning Had taken up the board in Orange, Nc which help cure him from his disease. David Fanning wore a scarf around his head to hide his baldness and the scarring that he had from the disease. After all of this happened he decided to move to Pee Dee which is a area in South Carolina he was 19 years old and became a Indian trader in the later years, he became friends with the Catawba and the Cherokee tribes. At the beginning of the Revolution he supposedly attacked by the whigs which they robbed him now that this happened he was called a rabid Tory. Later on many years had passed and the ending was when he became a shipbuilder in Canada by the year 1784. Also before he became a shipbuilder he had a charge of rape. He was one of the only men that was not included in the state of North Carolina in its " Act of Pardon and Oblivion" in the year 1783.

George Washington

George Washington was the first president of the United States of America. He was born 1732 into a Virgina planter family, he learned the morals and also the manners for a 18th century as a Virginia gentleman. He was a man interested in to things which were military arts and western expansion. From 1759 to the outbreak of the American Revolution Washington had his lands managed around the Mount Vernon and also served in the Virginia House of Burgesses. In May 1775 ,when the second continental congress assembled in Philadelphia was elected Commander in Chief of the Continental Army. Washington learned early that the best way to do things was to harass the British. In 1781 finally he with the help of the French allies he forced the surrender of Cornwallis in Yorktown. Finally a long time passed and he had went through all of the wars he died on December 14, 1799 of a throat infection. The country mourned for a long time as they new how much he had done for them and as well as there family's.
