World War 1

For the first in America's History, World War 1 North Carolina exerted its influence over the United States. The World War 1 started in August of 1914 and ended in the year 1919. The first war lasted five years, and toward the end of it the United States took a decisive role in what was known as its outcome. The World War got its name because when the European nations controlled colonies throughout the world, it became what is know called the World War. Later when the conflict emerged the initial war was named World War 1. Also the North Carolinians showed their individual courage in the conflict in the end the people that won were the Allies.
